This hostel is in the perfect location. It is very central to all of the best shops in Auckland, and isn't one of the big busy city hotels. I could easily walk to all of the best shops nearby including an awesome records store just down the road. The low cost makes this very suitable accommodation for anyone.

Great and very quiet location in downtown Auckland. I love that it is next to K'road with lots of restaurants nearby. The only thing is that we had to go uphill from queen street with our luggages. Otherwise staff is very helpful and have great recommendations.

Lovely staff here and the rooms are well maintained. It can get a little noisy at night though with street noise since it is such a central location. There are also limited carparks that require a deposit and pre-booking so definitely do that before your stay to avoid expensive parking elsewhere. Very close to everything you need on Queen Street or K road. Staff are fantastic with noise complaints as well - we had a loud group of teenagers in the room next to us and when we called the staff to inform them of it, it was nice and quiet for the rest of the night after the kids got told off
