The food is just wowww.it would be great to visit this place on special occasions since the prices are high.But amazing service .Highly recommended.

Not a place I would recommend as a 'must do' in auckland. Our service was really slow and unempathetic when apologies received for the delays. We had to ask 3 times for water for our table. The portions are rather small and wont fill you up, you need to order 2 dishes, and another customer spilled their drink all over the floor, and this was left there for almost 10 minutes before staff made an attempt to clean it up.

Can recommend more. Situated just above, have a stroll around before hand then enjoy a traditional English lunch. Highly recommend the burger on a Saturday. The service is great and the decor is very lively situated in an old flower market.

Not much choice for vegetarians but the eggplant and sides I had were delicious. Staff didn’t seem very interested in accommodating my needs. Decor and atmosphere were great though.

As a highly anticipated first outing to Woodpecker Hill in Parnell, I was absolutely awe stunned by the stylish interior of the restaurant from the front door water feature wall through to the industrial chic interiors if the dining area.
We were warmly greeted and fortunate enough to be seated as a walk in given how busy the place was in the early evening. Our waitress was most hospitable, introducing us to the style of cuisine and service style. She was engaging and friendly as we eyed both the beverage and food menus.
The sharing plates we ordered included the honey crispy eggplant, green papaya salad, kingfish lime pomelo crudo, charred spicy calamari and the terakihi yellow curry. Each of our dishes were so flavoursome, vibrant and aromatic, not to mention exquisite on the palate.
For dessert we ordered the mango caramel pudding and sticky black rice and these were pleasant.
Overall, I was most impressed and eagerly look forward to dining here again. The entire dining experience and restaurant ambiance was exquisite! Highly recommended with distinction!
