Waiwera Thermal Resort & Spa

A good amount of pools and it is a relaxing place to go. The slides are pretty intense but good fun. Would be great if there were more of them.
There are supposed to be adult only pools but sometimes there are kids in there but the staff wouldn't intervene.
Great to take a picnic and spend the day lazing around.

I hadn't been here for so long and forgot how nice it is to relax and soak in hot pools. The slidesare awesome, we also hired a private spa for an hour and that was great. They have kept the pools in really good order which is really great! Worth checking it out again if you haven't been for ages or making a visit if you haven't been at all! Next time I am going to try the spa treatments!

I went there yesterday as recommended by one of my cousins. Had relly high expectation but got really disappointed when we actually went there. I dont feel paying $30 is worth it at all. The pools are not maintained properly, there is no properly tiling surface on the bottom of the pool. Its all concrete besides the movie pool. My husbands feet got cut from the rough edges at the bottom. Very disappointing Saua wasn't free compared to West Wave and Papatoetoe Pools, whereby its so cheap and Sauna is all incl. Surely waste of $60

The pampering services offered are Devine!!! Best couples massage packages ever :) as a beauty therapist I would highly recommend the waiwera day spa and private spas

Great place for some aquatic fun - but I'd only visit when we've got one of the 2 for 1 vouchers (which are pretty common to find). Otherwise turns out to be pretty pricy unless you're literally there all day.
