One of the first of hyped-up Asian food. I was excited about going because it has a trendy atmosphere. I ordered a shirodashi ramen and I was quite disappointed. It was pricey for over $15 and there were 6 pieces of meat in a murky noodle broth. I couldn't even see through the broth. It is way overpriced for what it is when you can get noodles at other places with half a chicken for that price.

Great food but a bit sloppy service. Will come back to see if it was just a “wrong night”.

Great fusion cafe with a range of creative brunch dishes.I had the Katsu Chicken curry. Katsu had a light and crispy shell and the chicken inside was soft. Curry itself was a little thin and bland though. I recognise the rice used and don’t particularly like this specific brand because of the small grain and teeth-sticking texture of it.Taste all good.I will go back for more.

Stopped in when visiting Auckland. My wife and I really enjoyed the food and the staff were great.

Mixed feelings about this place as I only dine here when they have their deals up on grabone/groupon. Definitely not worth to dine here at full price as it's way too overpriced for what you get. However the food is absolutely delicious where I always get their prawn Pad Thai and although the flavour and taste deviate from traditional Pad Thai, Wagamama certainly has their own take in this dish and has succeeded with it. Some of their sides/ entrees are worth ordering, however, some of the dumplings have a really weird filling and the pastry is too thick to be able to fully enjoy the balance between pastry and filling.

Service is average depending which branch you go to, however, the interior is modern and clean.
