Went in to VTNZ Sylvia Park for WOF (not my usual VTNZ Branch). The inspector, and I use this term loosely, attempted to fail my vehicle for not having catalytic converters and loose suspension coils in the rear. My car has had no cats and the same springs for over 2 years, been through 2-3 previous inspections at my usual branch Highbrook with no issues whatsoever. His attitude was to “take it to them to pass it then, because I’m failing you”. Wasn’t until I demanded to speak to the manager that the catalytic converter issue was fine but they still wouldn’t pass the springs. My mechanic (who personally installed the springs) looked them over yesterday and was dumbfounded as they are in the exact condition as the day they were fitted. Went back to my usual branch for retest and surprise surprise no issues. I wish I could remember this idiot’s name at Sylvia Park, as I’m now $75.00 + gst out of pocket, due to my mechanic looking them over. Can I send him the bill for that AND my wasted time? Never going to this joint EVER again.

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. Tried renewing my license over a lunchtime - they were extremely busy and I waited for at least 20-30 minutes. I got to the front of the queue only to be told I had to put a form down before I started waiting in line!

Went in to renew my license and I was able to get my warrant and rego done all at the same time! No stress no fuss and great customer service from Hayley who made my visit pain free without the long wait and the hassle of having to provide proof of address as the electronic version was acceptable. Unlike the other female who told me the electronic version was unacceptable. Definitely recommend checking this station out if your in the area! Fast, efficient and will go back to get my next warrant & rego done. Thanks again Hayley!

Just got my licence renewed at VTNZ and they were very helpful and offered prompt service.

Took my restricted and full licence at this branch and it ended both in success. It's amazing how the testing officers were polite and very professional. Great customer service.
