VR Queen Street Hotel & Suites

Perfectly serviceable 2 bed apartment. Securing the room we booked was a bit of a palava but we got there in the end . Friendly staff. We will be back .

Awesome hotel! I liked the kitchen facilities in the room - very clean and modern and there was plenty of utensils. I also loved the shower pressure and the bathroom was excellent! The staff were also lovely and very helpful and I also appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast. Awesome value for money and handy location! The bed a little firm and got a bit of a sore back :/ The air conditioning had an error message on it so it was a little bit difficult to get it working and also couldn't work out how to extract the steam from the bathroom. There's plenty of parking on the ground floor.

Great centrally located hotel, and very luxurious beds etc. Small rooms - shower has excellent pressure (and was very queen), but quite compact arrangement. Toilet / sink etc very close to each other.

Room had small kitchen, with microwave and cooker, well furnished - so this is a plus as it allows you to cook for yourself and not have to eat more expensive options on Queen St / K Rd. My room had a dining table and 2 chairs to sit on also. 32" tv on wall.

Can't complain about the service which was very good. Asked for a wake up call. No tacky phone call here - the staff knock on the door to ensure you really are awake!

Recommended if you like luxury on a budget and don't mind smaller room size.

It was OK for a night. Clean and tidy. Customer service was OK. Car park was very tight.
