The location of Kate Edger Information Commons is a hub of activity at the University of Auckland. There is a large study area both with and without computers (need uni credentials to log in). There is also the University Bookstore (now called Ubiq) which is available to both uni affiliates and the general public and has a large selection which may not be available at general bookstores. There's are also convenient stores, uni medical clinic and other facilities. Essential location for students and worth a look for non-affiliates as well

Location of the Uni library - good place to go for study or just for a relaxing read. Huge selection of books on a variety of topics. Don't need to be a Uni member/student to go in, but you will need to be in order to get books out. If it's something you're interested in, you can become an associate member and gain full library rights.

Kate Edger Information Commons is one of the most important locations for both students and visitors to the University of Auckland campus. It's the home of for many of the student study spaces, offices such as the health clinic and accommodations office along with a cafe and convenience store. The campus tour passes through here given the central location, it's worth a visit. If you're a student looking to study here, I'd just note it can get a bit noisy.
