Umi Japanese Restaurant at Sylvia Park

'm sure this place has alot of regulars but we are probably their most regular dining there once a week, most weeks for about 6 years. What keeps us coming back is the freshness of the sushi - we think it's the best in Auckland. It's amazing how many friends we have run into there who all agree.

Good Japanese option in Sylvia Park, especially if youre there on a lunch break at work. Food comes out pretty quick and it's decently priced.

Delicious sushi very friendly staff. The restaurant was very clean and very spacious. The staff were very helpful and they were very respectful. I enjoyed my experience here because the food was amazing I loved this miso soup. The restaurant was very clean and the facilities work mean I love the fact that they had lots of napkins on the table great place for Japanese crusine lovers.

I really like the sushi here, but the rest of the menu is average. Reasonably priced, & good service.

Average sushi, I bought a salmon & avocado sushi pack 8 and it wasn’t very fresh. The store was clean but the service from the lady that was serving me wasn’t that great she didn’t have any customer service not very friendly.
