They do the best fish and chips! So fresh and so clean, clean batter on the fish and clean oil on the chips. Fat kinas in their kina pots, and the fried bread here is amazing, sometimes I order a bag or two so I can take some home and pig out on them over the next couple of days.

I used to really love getting their raw fish, it was full of fish chunks and not just coconut cream. Now, they've shrunk the size of the container, increased the price, and put less fish in it, not impressed! Cant find anywhere else that does fried bread any better though, the bread is fluffy and big!

Im a huge seafood fan, which makes Tobys a great shop for myself personally. If you like fresh seafood, give Tobys a visit (there are a few stores around auckland). They do smoked fish, raw fish, fresh fish fillets and fish and chips! Kina, mussels, oysters etc, you name it, they've got it.

Great seafood shop, especially the always popular stall at the Avondale flea markets on Sunday. I got smoked kaiwai last time and it was delicious in a fish salad
