The best restaurant in nz for certain. Stunning, immaculate 5-star experience. We went for the 7 course degustation menu which was different, delicious and indulgent. A huge treat for a special occasion. You feel like a celebrity when you dine here

Had a very lovely dinner here with my flatmate. The staff were attentive and polite, the decor was subtle yet attractive and welcoming and the food had good flavour combinations that were creative but worked well. Overall I would happily recommend.

Their special restaurant month menu was perfect; familiar food with a twist and expertly presented and served. Faultless food and service, perfect ambiance. Cant wait to go back

Having just joined Yellow, I thought it important to come back and review The Grove from a year or so ago. This is simply because friends and colleagues report it is still the same today.
We went to celebrate our anniversary, the staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they were clearly very in tune with all of the food - we had 9 courses and it was delicious, I tried about 5 new things in one eve.
When we chose a wine we thought we would like at $200 (a complete treat) they asked us about the choice, they ended up recommending a wine $50 cheaper based on our tastes, one of the best wines I have ever had. Not many places would do that and lose $50.
Wonderful and romantic, can't wait to return.

I went here for my 30th and it is one of New Zealand's best restaurants. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and I ate things I normally would not have. Lambs tongue etc. The staff where excellent and I felt like a princess. It was a great night.
