The Board Shop

Went here for the first time for some clothing. The younger sales person was very helpful and friendly but an older guy (could be the owner, not sure he stayed seated at the till) seemed quite patronising and had an unpleasant communication style in some ways. They had what I wanted so I still bought it but not sure I would return.

I've found the staff here not as friendly as some other surf shops in the area, they can be pushy... I guess they must work on commission. The selection of boards available in shop however is very good.

Good friendly staff that know what they are talking about and carry a lot of stock

Good service, good prices n great location. Will go there again when we visit paeroa. My husband got some nice shorts n wants more.

They are helpful as soon as you walk in the door but they are not over friendly. They are happy even if you are not interested in buying anything. The prices are competitive and there is a good range of products on display.
