Step Beyond Studios is based in Torbay and is a long established and leading Auckland dance school. We teach ballet and contemporary dance to students of all ages and abilities. The directors/tutors are Marian McDermott and Grace Woollett - both well known and highly experienced dance teachers. Our focus is on providing positive programmes, where everyone is acknowledged and encouraged to excel to the best of their abilities. This includes not having examinations, to ensure everyone experiences equal enjoyment from dance. Each year the students have the opportunity to perform on stage in our fabulous annual show. The show is always very creative and entertaining and considered the highlight of the year. We work hard to help the students to achieve a high standard of performance.
