Speakers Corner Ale House

Speakers is great! Amazing beer selections, and that's all good, but their Steak and Guinness Pie is AMAZING! Atmospheres always warm and welcoming as well, my flat mates and I often head their for quiz nights. Really great bar!

Been a customer of this restaurant for 20 years often having family dinners there at least 5 times a year. Great atmosphere when not too busy and provides plenty of fascinating items of historical interest to look at on the walls and shelves. Food is priced well my favourite being the wedges with sour cream, cheese, bacon etc... Brilliant location right by the beach and the building itself is very old and gives the lovely old English pub vibe. Have had some great chefs and unfortunately some not so great. Majority of the time enjoyable great food and a good place to enjoy a meal or a couple of drinks.

Wed night steak nights are the bomb at Speakers! great Steak with chips and a lovely dressed salad and a nice refreshing crabbies ginger beer...fantastic! I highly recommend!

Such a lovely pub to catch up with friends and always lovely service as well as awesome steak and Guinness pie!! Also a very difficult pub quiz on Tuesdays for those that like a challenge

Great location , outside seating has a view of the beach, great service, food and staff.
