Shamiana Indian Cafe

Disappointed as no lamb dishes left. They said they make it offsite and had run out.
Did end up having the chicken korma instead which was lovely.

The food is just okay, I go there only when i am out of options for vegetarian indian food. staff is good though. chickpea curry and paneer are average dishes that you could try. Avoid naans as they are really bad.

Considering the surrounding eat outs and even Shamiana's counterparts, this Shamiana serves food quite average in taste, though the pricing is the same. But still won't mind spending a bit more provided I get value for money, but I guess some work is needed on this front. Even the Garlic or butter naans are not soft and spongy. Still with no Indian eat out in Manukau Supa Centre, this one enjoys monopoly.

Indian food is average. Didnt like the biryani as the chicken was not well cooked. Quite liked the indo chinese as it made fresh to order.

Probably one of the better places in the food court, but compared to other Indian restaurants around Auckland, the authenticity is low. Prices could also be a bit more reasonable.
