Satya South Indian Cafe

This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants for two reasons. Firstly the food is always delicious and full of flavour (although I do wish they did a standard plain naan bread). Secondly the owners are wonderful, friendly people who give back to their community. During the power outages in Auckland last year they opened their doors to locals who didn't have cooking facilities to come in and eat and they also open their door on Christmas to people who may be without families or short of cash. This is exactly the kind of people and business that I would like to support.

An excellent place to enjoy the Indian food and Indian cultural heritage. The interior is made in such a way that gives you the feeling of being in India. The food is awesome and staff is very friendly. Very Busy on weekends.

Delicious, sophisticated Indian cuisine and creative cocktails in a lovely upscale environment. Super friendly staff, who didn't bat an eye at the fact my friend and I were a little underdressed for the venue :) The owner came by to chat with us and encouraged us to sit, chat, and enjoy our tea.

This was the first time we had been to this place, it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Our kids had recommended us this place & they treated us like royalty 4 course meal. It was Indian Food with Classic Style & Ambience was also great. Had we known it's a classy restaurant we would have dressed up.

Went there on seeing the reviews online, and the place did not let down. Great food at a cheap price. Options available range from spicy dishes of India to the normal ones.
