Saffron Indian Restaurant & Bar

Food is really good. Loved the lentils. Bit expensive, but its tasty as well. One of the restaurants where you can find Indian taste, other say Indian restaurant, but not really Indian taste. Another good things, its open late. Parking is one concern, but close to public transports.

If you're looking for a good quality Indian lunch or dinner without all the formalities then this is definitely the place. We had the best Indian we have ever had here . . This is THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in town, the chef and owner we learnt is from a well known restaurant chains in India and has definitely the cooking skills to get the taste of the authentic food from India. if you would like to taste the real Indian food without the cream and sugar in your curries , try this restaurant you will love this and also the rice they use is also authentic and is of the best quality which I have never tasted or seen in any other Indian restaurants in Auckland, we go all the way from Henderson for dine in and takeaways just because of the taste and authenticity, we call the owner annan affectionately and he deserves all the credit for being the best Indian restaurant in town.
A must go restaurants for all those Indian food lovers. You will be thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Visited this restaurant for their famous south Indian weekend buffets. Most of the time fully booked. Good quality food for the price. Great customer service, staff very polite and friendly.

We came here when we were last up in Auckland and loved it! Good prices also.The curries my fav. Recommended
