Rogers Garden Centre

Not worrhy of even a single star!!!I went to Roger's Garden Mangere this morning and purchased $40 worth of plants. I asked the guy at the counter (from his arrogance I assume he was the owner) if I could please have a couple of plastic bags to put the plants in. He point blankly said "no". I asked why not (particularly when he gave 2 customers bags ahead of me). He replied because I give it only to my frequent customers. I said well, how do you think you would have me here back again if this is the customer service I get. He just shrugged his shoulders and turned away. Unbelievable customer service..... is it because the business is doing well and he cannot be bothered if he loses customers or is it because I was an Indian woman buying plants on my own and the two couples ahead of me who got the plastic bags were white-skinned? I would really like to believe that racism does not exist in New Zealand but when I get such a treatment, it really makes me wonder!!!

Very cheap plants and always a bargain but as a regular gardener I have been disappointed to find plants (including large trees) mis labelled. Which you only realise well after they have started growing. But for cheap and cheerful colour Rogers is good. I wouldn't recommend a major purchase as the labelling is too inaccurate

Absolutely the best place in Auckland to for to get plants ,flowers vegies and advice for for the garden. Quality is second to none, without the high prices. awesome place.

Pretty much the first place you go if you want plants. Also roger has possibly the best knowledge of plants too. Take him a leaf and he will tell you the plant. Grab a pink wheel barrow and spend a few hours
