Ras Vatika Indian Vegetarian Cafe

The food I had here reminded me of my mum's homemade cooking and for this reason I can not recommend it enough! I love the masala dosa and the thali. I loved it so much that I went back several times.

While searching for vegetarian options in Auckland, stumbled on this nice little restaurant in Auckland. Went for dinner. Three generations of Gujarati ladies are preparing food with so much love and affection there, it literally translates into the taste. Best Gujarati food I have ever had abroad be it US or UK or NZ. So good that I visited the place twice in three days. Prices are reasonable too. There can be free parking at the end of street. Little away from CBD but worth a visit. Ask for medium or large Gujarati thali or other cuisines and you'll never be disappointed.

Sabodana vada is awesome here and a very good place to find some yummy snacks. Would love to visit again :)

This little gem serves absolutely sumptuous dishes! The masala dosa is the best you will find anywhere. Service is excellent. Will keep coming back.
