Raja's Indian Restaurant & Bar

Its a very authentic Indian Restaurant. I went there with my family for a dinner after googling for a restaurant and we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. Customer Service is top, every food items we had were very tasty and priced reasonably. We we recommend this place without any hesitation to anyone who like to taste Indian food in Auckland. Well worth our drive there from west Auckland on a rainy evening.

Probably my definite go to when I’m craving Indian cuisine. Especially with their refillable rice, you will never leave Raja’s on an empty stomach! I’m not one for spice so I always get their classic butter chicken but they have a variety of curries ranging in spice levels. Their naan bread is coated in garlic butter, which gives it that extra flavour! The chicken is tender and the sauce tastes amazing as there is an equal balance between the sweetness and sourness. Portions are large and it’s really worth the price especially with their lunch specials!

The environment is clean and serene. Service is good also where I was greeted upon arrival and shown to a table without a fuss.

There is free parking available right outside and around the area!

I like the service here. Staff is fantastic and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the ambient classical Indian music. And food was delicious.

Tasty and well priced but very oily. This is real comfort food. The restaurant can be cold in winter with the wind blowing in through the open restaurant doors. The service is fast and friendly.
