POKPOK Thai Restaurant & Bar

For a catch up dinner, we tried out Pok Pok Thai in K Road and arrived in time before a large party. The restaurant was lovely and quaint and the staff was very friendly and kind to advise of a group of 22 expected to arrive soon.

We tried a mixture of entrees such as the deep fried chicken spring roll, the sticky pork belly and the chicken satay. The highlight entree was the exquisite pork, so sticky, sweet and unctuous tasting with a tender yet crispy texture.

For mains, we ordered the poached coconut salmon and the Tom yum prawns. The salmon was exceptional tasting, and cooked beautifully in a red curry coconut cream gravy with mushrooms.

I’d like to visit again and try some of the other dishes from the simple to order menu. It was a fantastic find and a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended!
