Pit Stop

Have had my car serviced their couple of times, the experience has been good. The guy working on my car called to confirm any unexpected spend and was not at pushy...leaving it on me to decide,

Had my brakes replaced by these guys before Christmas. I took my car back in May for the follow up to this and as my brake pedal had a bit of play. Told someone would meet me to drop it off at 7.30am and nobody turned up until 7.50am. Even though I'd booked it in, my car was with Lance for 2 days and 3 times I had to call to follow up. Lance said the brake master cylinder needed to be replaced and he quoted $600 - $1000. I rang 3 branches of the AA who quoted $400 - $600 for the same work with an aftermarket product. I picked my car up from Lance, took it to AA who discovered the brake line simply needed a bleed to remove air from the line and the brake pedal works perfectly now. Huge difference between $600-$1000 and $75. Massive difference between a new brake master cylinder (not even aftermarket) and bleeding a brake line. I recommend you give these guys a massive swerve as they were hard to get a straight story out of about how long it would take and then they quoted and wanted to replace something that doesn't appear to be broken.
