Northern Steamship Co Macs Brewbar

Great location and good vibe inside. We went in for food and a drink on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy.
The burgers were very nice as were the accompanying chips.
However, they were out of the Macs cloudy apple cider, which was one of the main reasons we went there and poor considering it is a Macs bar. They offered a bottle of Isaacs pear cider, which was fine, however after waiting for a while, we were then informed they had run out of that too. The only ciders they had were 500ml bottles of some other brand of fruity flavours, which was $15. However as we had already paid for a normal cider, they did not make us pay the difference. Luckily the cider I had was actually nice!
It was good having the Entertainment Book voucher to get a discount.
I would go back again for the food.

Was extremely busy when we came but there was a rugby game on, id love to go back when it wasn't so busy to really enjoy it as it was a very cool place with a lot to look at!

Great Macs pub with the whole selection of Macs brews on tap. Good pub food, generous portions. A good choice for starting off a night in town.

Fantastic bar with great ambience and decor.
Always a pleasure to have a pint here with mates - and the great Macs beer on tap doesn't hurt either ;-)
