New Ruby Restaurant

Friday night is all you can eat buffet night for ~$25. The food is generally tasty, but options are limited. Still it is an affordable night out and great for family's and groups. The food comes directly from the kitchen of the attached takeaway - so you can get the same food cheaper ordering next door.

On our way out to Spookers we decided to have Asian cuisine and happened across a couple of side by side restaurants. We opted for Hong Kong Chinese food at New Ruby which had a buffet dinner night.

Inside the very modest interior there were multitudes of diners from all ethnic backgrounds enjoying the banquet however we wanted a la carte.

The service was prompt, efficient and very courteous and our tables ordered sprung rolks, deep fried prawns and hit and sour soup. All of which were met with murmuring humming if satisfaction.

We shared selection of dishes including Lemon Chicken, Nasi Goreng, Singapore Fried Noodles and Chicken Cashew Nuts. We were all very well sated and thoroughly enjoyed every flavourful dish and we took home left overs.

For a hearty fail proof Chinese dinner at very reasonable prices, I highly recommend New Ruby Restaurant!

Went there with friends and we had a blast. We had so much fun while eating here. We ordered Egg Foo and the sweet n sour pork, everything tasted good and we are never disappointed.
