Navy Museum

Wonder through the museum, parking area or park on road, plenty to be found , disability parks available close to door. Then have a coffee/lunch at the cafe, which has great views.
Take the family as there is a play area, for younger children. And then walk out to the end of the wharf, maybe take your fishing rod, as it is a popular fishing spot.

We always bring our international visitors here. Lovely museum with cafeteria next to it. The cafeteria has beautiful ocean views. The musuem has a lot of information about Navies. It is very interesting to see how the navies live in the ships.

Very interesting place was good to learn about some of the history of the area,great way to spend some time

The original Navy Museum was housed in a really tiny building, so it was pleasing to visit the Topedo Bay Navy Museum in its new premises. The exhibits are much easier to see and so much more is on display. They have some great collections about New Zealand's maritime history, medal collections and more. There's a souvenir shop as well, and cafe. Right on the waterfront, too, as it should be. Highly recommended.
