Mutiara Malaysian Restaurant

This place has a nice vibe. Location is super handy and central. The food is good, not the best but really good value. Staff are really kind too.

We ordered a few dishes for sharing, chicken keju was really nice and the other flavours such as sambal squid, asam fish, kamheong prawn were quite disappointing. The sambal was very bland and the squid smells pretty fishy unfresh. The plus side is the customer service was really friendly and helpful.

Great dinner all round. Good quality food and delicious. Friendly waitresses! The only disantvantage: very loud, yes we know, Kiwis in a restaurant usally are loud! Anyway would recommend it!

Beef rendang is so yum! The soup is very flavorful and it’s halal as well.
