Mr Zhou's Dumpling

Aside from the staff being the grumpiest looking people you'll ever meet, this place is great. Some of the best dumplings in Auckland are to be had in this underrated hole-in-the-wall joint. They offer a half and half plate of steamed and fried dumplings if you're keen on a bit of variety. Recommend the pork and prawn.

Great dumplings, but terrible service.

Mr Zhou's experience requires me to bring out the classic cliche "a hidden gem". Located in such unassuming location and until a recent refurbishment, unassuming surroundings. Regardless of the interior, Mr Zhou's has a seriously strong dumpling game. It is well reported around fellow review platforms that Mr Zhou's is run by the family who used to run New Flavour, another winner. Many of the same excellent dumplings are available here too. Try the Cucumber and tofu salad, pretty epic, and of course the dumplings, although all are great. Can even take away some frozen ones for later. Yum.

The service is bad in a quite time. They took too much time for making a food

Mr Zhous does the best dumplings in Auckland. While the shop itself doesn’t look special, their dumplings sure are. I highly recommend the beef and cabbage, boiled. So good. I always get some frozen ones to take home too. Great dumplings at a great price.
