Mr Toms

The waiters were very polite and accommodating. We were sat in the restaurant part but it was very noisy due to a birthday party. They apologised and seated us in the bar area until the big group were gone. The food was really lovely. I had the snapper which was just devine. Nice sauce and veggies. The fish taco was a good start. Great decor.

Mr Toms was a godsend to happen across as we continued our cocktail trail along Ponsonby. This restaurant bar was impressive immediately from being greeted and seated by staff as we entered to being offered a selection of their menus.

Since we had dinner plans to follow Mr Toms, we only got to enjoy their scintillating cocktails. We tried the Feijoa Falls and When Life Serves You Lemons and both beverages were amazing, layering citrus tones with sour notes with sweet and fruity. I’d definitely love to revisit this place for dinner or lunch when they have live music! Highly recommended!
