Monterey Cinemas

So lovely to have this friendly and intimate cinema with a wide range of movie choices within walking distant from home. Combined with a drink or meal at one of the surrounding bars or restaurants (the Monterey have deals with some of them) makes for a pleasant afternoon or evening out. Not a lot of food choice to be purchased at the theatre but nice little selection of beverages. Reduced priced movies on some days or times of the week or with certain deals. Ask for one of their loyality cards :-)

Recently visited the Monterey Cinema in Howick. The foyer has an old school feel to it but the cinema and the staff were welcoming. The cinema was comfortable and the screen and sound quality was good. Look out for their children deals which included a drink and popcorn!

Cool little cinema experience. Lovely food and drink options that you can take into the movie. Warm, relaxed atmosphere and not too busy.

Awesome little movie theatre in the middle of Howick. Cheap tickets and a homely feel. Extremely handy to where I live - it's great.
