Mexico Takapuna

Small portions and sometimes the flavours they put together doesn’t work- comes off as pretentious- however in saying that, the staff are amazing, the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is good. Probably a good place to go for a end of the day drink or a weekend catch up

I love Mexico Takapuna! The staff are lovely and service is always fast. You have to go and try there fried chicken its the best in Auckland!!!

We had a great meal here, the food was awesome, service was fantastic, really helpful. Will be going again soon.

This restaurant has a real beachy atmosphere and it makes you feel like you should be wearing a sombrero with your kiwi jandals, and also still enjoy the energy of an inner city vibe. I really enjoy the cocktails; they are so refreshing and cheeky. The food is light, spicy and really enjoyable. They definitely cater for all palettes. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Definitely a place to catch up with colleagues’ and friends. Good for light lunches to avoid the heavy feeling when you need to return to the office. I love the evening ambience this restaurant has when you are drinking a margarita and watching the setting sun.

Always have a great time coming here. Food is amazing. Such a cool set up with all the mexican art/deco. Great outdoor area. Had my birthday dinner here and was an awesome experience!! Will definitely be back.
