      General Info

      McHugh's of Cheltenham is the North Shore's best-kept secret. Our fully licensed restaurant is open for lunch from midday daily, and our popular roast dinner is available on Sundays from 5.30pm till 8.00pm. We are fully licensed and are available for private function hire 7 days a week. We're a family favourite with the locals and we look forward to serving you. Bookings are essential.

      The roast beef isn't as bad as some people make it out to be, mine came out a good medium rare and the roast potatoes quite unique as they have a crunchy shell but soft interior. The pork belly is also good but can be a tad fatty (as with all pork belly).

      The food are nicely done and prepared. The ambience is great but might get too dark to read the menu. Their cocktail menu is also good to check out.
      Its pricey but its worth it.

      One of the few restaurants in Auckland with an absolutely marvelous location. Beachfront and sunny. Great for special occasions.
