Masu

This review is for the bar only. My wife and I were looking for a drink before a table became free at depot. We misguidedly tried sky city - so weird. Then the Spanish place further up federal street - drinks menu uninspiring. Walked into Masu bar without making the connection to the well known restaurant. Pleasant staff, good service and what a drinks list. Great selection of proper whiskies - well Japanese whisky anyway, the Scottish options are not very exciting (oban etc.).

We enjoyed two amazing suntory malts, very pleasant, will happily go back - and eat too hopefully

Excellence exemplified from restaurant decor, staff attentiveness through to ambience and of course, exquisite cuisine! It's a restaurant to go for a highly memorable dining experience and special occasion. Allow a good 2 hours to truly enjoy the set menus!

Really tasty food, and an impressive selection of Sake. Recommended.

great service and most of the food is delicious, although overpriced. Interior feels a bit more like an upmarket cafe than a fine dining restaurant

Loved this place. Very nice atmosphere, well worth paying the premium for. If I had to recommend an absolute must order dish it would have to be the maki gani, the king crab leg. Absolutely fantastic. Me and my eight year old cousin were fighting over it so I had to order another one..
