Massimo Takapuna

Massimo is located close to Takapuna Beach and is always busy. The food is good and their coffee beans are fantastic (take them home if you have an espresso machine). I took a star off because the staff can be flustered and less than friendly when busy.

This place is best visited in summer as they have a great outdoor set up.Great place for a nice light atmosphere with great food .

Really rude staff with overpriced food and drinks. Been twice and would not go back for a third.

A nice place to sit with a big group, but overrated for the price and service. They have average cafe food and decent coffees with spacious indoor and outdoor seating. The location is probably what wins them massive points as they're quite close to the beach. Good for a family brunch or coffee catchup with bubs.

My favourite place in all of Takapuna. Near the beach, near the shops, easy parking, great food and the service is professionally carried out. I had an Eggs Benedict breakfast there this weekend and it was just perfect. Especially the mushrooms. No one else cooks them like that in all of Auckland!
