Macpac Botany Town Centre

This place is massive and has such an awesome selection of stores. They also have a great range of food shops that are quite different for example the little nut shop where you could buy a honey roasted macadamias at incredible

Not very cheap but the outdoor clothing is definitely worth it as it's all great quality. The tents are great and there's lots of merino too. The staff are very helpful and it's always a good shop

Botany is a much nicer open air mall than Albany. There's plenty of parking and then you can walk around the shops (as opposed to driving to each one individually). There's restaurants, bars, movie theatre, library, cafes, supemarket, shops etc. It's also nice for the kids in the summer like with the giant outdoor chess set.

Over the years Macpac has seen degradation in staff technical knowledge and equipment quality, but the shift to the focus on clothing has been successful and as long as you take the staff's claims with a grain of salt you can find a great selection of very nicely designed gear that looks really good.
