Le Chef Victoria

Food was a delight and the client we were hosting was just amazed with the platters and the service and the wine of course.Le Chef will never disappoint you, I’ve been to their Bastille Day event 3 years in a row and again super amazing.

We popped in for a quick bite to eat - we ordered the goat cheese and mushroom omelette, the Croque Monsieur and two glasses of the Drouhin Chardonnay from France.

The omelette was great but more like a frittata and the ham in the croque monsieur was too thick but they tasted good.

We got a table outside in Vulcan Lane which was very pleasant.

Nice French staff and if you closed your eyes you could almost be in Paris.

We will be back.

chicken is juicy and tender, chips are crispy and not oily, pretty good.

We both had the herb crusted short rib beef with kumara mash and baby carrots, and a chocolate terrine and creme brulee to finish as well as coffees. Beautiful presentaion and the flavours were immaculate. Service is top notch.

Great place to go to, in an awesome lane that you can just sit and watch the world go by.
We have stopped in a few times for a wine and always stayed longer. Great atmosphere and ambiance.
Food is very good although quite expensive.
We will visit again when we are in Auckland.
