La Zeppa Kitchen & Bar

Went here after work on a Monday and it was very quiet but that was fine.
We ordered the shared plates of tapas and it was nice but very, very expensive for what you got. Half of it was nuts and olives.
It was also extremely dark in there. We asked them to turn on the lights so we could see each other but all we got was a candle on the table which did nothing. We ended up putting the torch light on phones balanced on bottles so we could see the food.

Love La Zeppa's service and the atmosphere is always great - the only reason they get 4 stars from me instead of 5 is the menu. I'm not a huge fan of the current menu (though I understand it changes regularly), and find it hard to have dinner at La Zeppa as a result. Otherwise, it's the perfect place to meet with friends for a few drinks with nibbles, and stay on late into the night!

Amazing atmosphere and perfect place for farewell drinks and tapas! Cocktails and wine selection was impressive and always an amazing time had at La Zeppa! So highly recommended as a venue!

Good service, cosy interior and great ambience.Pork belly skin was a big tough to cut through and hard to chew. Lamb I thought they did really well, though a big hard to bite through as well. The Greek yoghurt sauce with beans was a very refreshing touch! Platter was generously portioned too; pita bread was deliciously crunchy and fluffy in all the right layers.Worth to try. Will be back.
