La Fourchette

On the night everything was fantastic, food was great, wine was great and we all had a fantastic evening. Often large group bookings are hard to organise but this was really easy !

The breakfast menu is fairly basic but still a lovely selection. I recommend the fish of the day, I think its actually called the market fish. They open early for your daily boost needs.

The food and wine was incredible. If you like fine French cuisine, this is the place to go. I would recommend however, going with a smaller group or going early. We had a table of six at 7:30 and the wait staff struggled. Service was slow and the food took a long time to arrive. When it did arrive though, it was absolutely superb.

Never a disappointment, just what St Heliers needed. Great service and fab treats. The French equivalent of the big breakfast is also amazing!

We had the pre booked high tea at La Fourchette. It was ok, some tasted a tad bit old/soggy and one tasted burnt, it looks pretty but we’ve had better quality else where. Service was slow and not very attentive but it was a full house I guess.
