Kings House Restaurant

An amazing meal for my mums birthday with incredible views. A must if you are in the area! The food was delicious with good sized portions, we all left feeling comfortably full. Excellent service and I would visit again next time

One of the nicest yum cha places in town. There is a time limit on dining time but they are not rude about it and the food comes out quite efficiently. The deep fried squid tentacles are done as they should be with thin batter and dessert breads and buns come freshly out of the oven in the big oven tray, carted around on the trolley and you can pick and mix a combination. Good quality food and the tastes are as they should be.

Yum Cha at Kings house is not the best in town.
I have been to Kings house on many occasions, dishes are pricey, service is less than poor, staff are not friendly.
Unlike most yumcha restaurants when you come to Kings House you must order what you want. They hardly have trolleys going round with food.
When you do order, it takes a long time and the staff are very rude.
Food is prices and pretty average, nothing outstanding about it but nothing horribly wrong about it.
I feel Kings house needs to be a bit more helpful, upbeat and friendly to their customers, produce food alot faster and either lower the price or up the quality.

The quality of the yum char here is great. The range is also very good. They have items here that are not usually found elsewhere. The place gets VERY busy during the peak hours and weekends, but the wait times are not too bad given the waitlist. Dinner here is more average, we prefer going for yum char.

This place is suppose to be of the higher end of the market. Service is ok in peak times. Prefer to go after 1.30pm on Sunday's to get a decent seating table and ample parking.
