Brought my kids here (toddler and preschool aged). They absolutely loved it and were in tears when it was time to go. They really enjoyed the big fish tank, and we sat there for about an hour while they ran around the tank squealing at the different sea creatures in the tank. I enjoyed my expensive and average tasting coffee while they did that.

Good place to take the kids for something different if your in auckland. A range of sea life of course and cool souviners available. Can get busy but worth the trip!

Took my 1 year old son here and he loved getting up and close with all the sealife especially the penguins when they were swimming around. It had been a while since I visited last and I was looking forward to the penguin ride around the enclosure but this is now gone. Nevertheless, they have a few new enclosures and also a cute little playground which caters to all ages so this was a plus! Tickets were pricey but this was a one off visit for us so did't mind too much. Cafe was overpriced and food was limited so I only ended up getting a drink.

An experience of a life time! Seeing the aquatic life up and personal is a great way we spent a raining day with the kids. For a little extra you can feed the fishes or penguins encounter. Cool little coin press machine and big open tanks where kids get to touch and feel coral and things. Activity centre for the kids and a brilliant arrangement of adult reading and look boxes. Cafe does the nicest coffee and offers light snacks but you are also able to ring your own food as there is a big open area to stop and have a bite to eat while watching the sting rays. Parking is of plenty and close to the front entrance. Kids will enjoy it and so will adults. Staff are lovely to deal with aswell.
