Kathmandu

The prices in this Kathmanu store are obviously lesser than the other fancy stores around, as probably they store in the season ending stuff, and hence the cheap price. Got a heli down 550 jacket from here few weeks back, and at cheap $80 price. So yeah, good if consider this price.

Great store with great prices. Most items are a clearance price, but it is annoying how they have some full priced items thrown in the mix. Staff are friendly and efficient. It was here that one staff member told me that I could actually be a Summit Club member for free as I was a student! Nice and tidy, not too cramped. The only negative is how one staff member assumed I spoke Mandarin, and assumed I was trying on a kid's jacket (which I knew I wasn't). I haven't seen this particular staff member since.

Picked up a great set of thermal tops/pants here which was great - but the prices are still pretty high for an outlet store. Can find the odd bargain if you look

Good range of last season's gear at clearance prices. You can definitely find a bargain but some of the prices are comparable to what's on sale in regular stores anyway. Not particularly pram friendly with two stories and only stairs between them.

Best part of the outlet is the fact that just some minor changes are made and new colours are added in which means after a certain time you can head to the outlet store and buy on higher discount. Got few nice things from here and am quite happy. Staff is good, so happy with another Shacket, parking is not a problem and location is closer to work than home
