Joy Bong Thai Restaurant & Bar

have been here before with a small group. The menu had a very good selection and range of dishes to choose from.The food was very nice and well presented and the service excellent. That was a four and a half star experience. Recently went there for a friends birthday. So had a group of about 16 and had to choose off a menu for large groups, THe selection and range was not very good at all and pretty much just the run of the mill Thai options (Pad Thai, satay etc). The service was still very good and attentive but it did take a while for the food to arrive which was suprising considering that we ordered off a very limited menu. In all fairness there were tow other large groups there, but if we were all ordering off the limited menu, I do not see how it should have taken so long. This was a very disappointing 1 and a half star experience. To be blunt, if I had only gone to the limited menu, I would have wondered why people rave about the place. Cut having been there before, this was a bit disappointing considering how much the meals and all cost. Will only go back with a small group.

Exquisite Thai fusion cuisine at its best with an impressive cocktail range to boast, Joy Boy is a stunningly beautiful restaurant offering exceptional customer service and memorable Thai dishes beckoning a follow up visit. I loved the snapper larb Thai hot and the mixed entree platter is a great insight into what this restaurant has to offer. Highly recommended with distinction!

Very delicious food, generous quantities and excellent service!! Tom yam egg noodle stir fry.. hit the spot. So awesome

Always good for a tasty meal or a quick drink... Service is great and happy hour is decent.
