IZU

A good Asian cuisine place to visit for dinner. The staff was efficient and friendly. Large range of dishes to choose from. Food was tasty and presentation was good. Would recommend.

I was eagerly anticipating trying out a new Japanese restaurant, IZU, which has recently been unveiled in Papakura and learned of positive dining experiences from friends and family, not to mention reasonable pricing.

We lunched at IZU and the hospitality of staff was exceptional, warm, inviting and attentive. I decided on trying the Market Fish Signature Lunch Box with snapper which came with miso, salad, sashimi of salmon, snapper and tuna, rolled sushi and crispy skinned snapper and edamame. My lunch with divine and accompanied with Umeshu. For dessert, I ordered the Creme brûlée with kumara and orange chips and it was simply heavenly. I’d love to return to try the dinner seafood platters. Highly recommended with distinction.
