Industry Zen

My mother's favourite restaurant. Consistently good food in a not-too-noisy environment. We like the squid and prawn tapas the best. Make sure to book!

The menu had a vast range of food to choose from. We selected a start of edamame and pickled veges. We then selected the 32 piece sashimi, beef skewers, and tempura vegetables.

It was with great anticipation finally getting to visit Industry Zen, and apart from trials and tribulations of finding parking for Viaduct area, the restaurant was very easy to by the Tepid Baths.
Service was very efficient and prompt and we decided on the Express Power Lunch with glasses of Yuzu and Umeshu. Our lunch started with a vegetable terrine, sashimi platter with, king fish, gurnard, trevally, tuna, salmon, snapper and prawn, teriyaki chicken, fried sushi, karaage chicken, miso sizzling beef and yum yum prawn.
Each dish was delicious and service flowed with ample food to try and savour. I’d love to visit for dinner or try their bento box specials. Highly recommended!

Food presentation is A class. Love the design of the place and menus.
The only thing I would recommend to pay attention it’s the service. Sometimes they can be slow even though the restaurant it’s not full.
Still would go back if I want to have a nice Japanese dinner.

Birthday dinner with friends here. Variety of dishes. Nice and efficient stuff. Will be back again. Best japanese restaurant
