India Gate Indian Restaurant

It seemed very awkward dining here. There was no background music and it was so quiet we coukd hear every word from the couple sitting next to us. The food was okay, the entrees took ages to arrive.

The food is good but not always consistent. The lighting is bad , especially when you have to witness a function, dance floor is limited. However it is intimate, albeit dated and needing a refurbish. Parking is free and the location is near the city. Having said that India Gate would need to raise the Bar if it is to compete with the range of other Indian outlets within a few 100 metres away. Overall average to good food, limited music , low lighting venue.

Really enjoyed this restaurant! Been 3 times now over the last 6 months. First time with a friend, second time with my wife and third time on my own.

Ambience is good but food is average

This place has a really great Indian food.. The staff is nice and friendly.. Even the atmosphere at this restaurant is really nice and welcoming.. Highly recommended for great taste Indian food.. Thanks..
