India Gate Indian Restaurant

It seemed very awkward dining here. There was no background music and it was so quiet we coukd hear every word from the couple sitting next to us. The food was okay, the entrees took ages to arrive.

The food is good but not always consistent. The lighting is bad , especially when you have to witness a function, dance floor is limited. However it is intimate, albeit dated and needing a refurbish. Parking is free and the location is near the city. Having said that India Gate would need to raise the Bar if it is to compete with the range of other Indian outlets within a few 100 metres away. Overall average to good food, limited music , low lighting venue.

They have a big party hall - if you are interested for organizing some party. On most of the occasions when we have visited restra is always full of people - that a good sign...its popular and why it shouldn't be? You get tasty food and they serve with a smile!!

Really enjoyed this restaurant! Been 3 times now over the last 6 months. First time with a friend, second time with my wife and third time on my own.

Awesome spot to meet your curry cravings. Cheap $12.50 lunch curries during the weekdays. Ample parking. Peaceful environment. They offer Uber eats. Been here a few times now and never disappointed.
