Hokkaido Restaurant & Bar

I tried Hokkaido for lunch via UberEats and was mildly impressed with the food. I thoroughly enjoyed the tuna nigiri however my salmon avocado roll was average. Admittedly I’m not a fan of orange roe due taste and texture and my chicken katsu curry was only mediocre. I did try Mogumogu lychee fit the first time and that was lovely. Perhaps it is better to dine in.

If you are after really good Japanese food then this is the place. I love their beef tataki and any of the tempura meals. The staff are verybfriendly and efficient. Make sure you book as they are very popular.

I really enjoyed this restaurant great for Japaneses style food. i really enjoyed the chicken curry it was well presented and tasted yummy. Nice interior so would recommend to anyone, you should totally go there.

Hokkaido prides itself in having food selections that are not usually available in other Japanese restaurants. However, I feel that the place is overrated since taste and ambience are pretty average. Moreover, food prices are tipping towards the expensive side.

Absolutely delicious food with generous portions. They have a wide variety of choices on the menu to suit everyone's taste. I always leave this restaurant feeling satisfied and incredibly full. The presentation and complexity of flavours may not be towards the high end of things, however, this place is perfect for those just wanting authentic Japanese food.

Seating is comfortable with attentive staff. Price for everything is average and what you would expect.
