      Great atmosphere and good beer. The place was packed for a weekend afternoon, with lots of birthday celebrations going on. The food was great too, but am I out of touch with Auckland food prices or is this overpriced

      Definitely a really nice place and obviously in a nice location.Great atmosphere and outdoor area for summer. Friendly service but can be slow when busy maybe more staff required over busy times. Great beer selection and meals are good gasto pub meals. Some meal options a little expensive for what you receive.

      Went here on fathers day last year, so it was super busy. Even though they were completely booked they still managed to find a table for us which was much appreciated. The food and beer was really yummy too. Highly recommended.

      Sunday afternoons in Hallertau with live music, a pint of #1 and a bowl of chips can't be beaten, the only downside is the location and deciding who will be the sober driver!
