Gasket Espresso

A very stylish local cafe with an absolutely delicious a la carte menu and cabinet display food. My favourite dessert has been the fresh cream raspberry lamington which was so moist and flavoursome with long shredded cococnut. The espresso is fantastic too although expect a wait during peak times. Best to visit in their quiet period.

I'd been here once before and hadn't been sufficiently wowed to return, but thought it was time to give it another go. And on a second visit it was exactly the same as before - not terrible, just not good enough to make me want to come back. The creamy mushrooms would have been great except that the sauce left the toast a soggy mess. I wont be visiting again, or atleast for a very long time.

Great Cafe, Great atmosphere and tasteful decor, interesting, good food, excellent service. Would love to live in the area so could invite my friends too. Love the billboard daily comments. Best cafe around.

Ginger slice is just awesome! Can also recommend tasty pumpkin soup. And the coffee here is the best in Ellerslie area. This is also the most remote coffee place from my office but it doesn't matter though.

Awesome ppl and fantastic atmosphere. If you have never been then you are missing out and need to make a visit.
Shame they aren't open on weekends!!
