Nice staff here, cozy place.We had a terrific dinner here. Pretty crowded but our reservation was respected immediately.The linguine pasta with clams has such rich flavors and their steak is just too good.Their fish sliders were amazing and delicious.Dishes are beautifully presented and they're delicious.It is worthy as your money.Highly recommended.

Depot is one of the busiest places in Auckland CBD - hard to find a table most nights and they do not take bookings for small groups! Outdoor and indoor seating available with heaters outdoors during winter months. Dishes are familiar but wonderfully full of flavour. The sliders are a real treat!! But if you are after a romantic dinner or good conversation over food, then Depot might be a bit too crowded with fast turnover.

The food is off the charts, so delicious and inventive. Have you seen the menu? Now who who have thought duck tongue would taste so good? Their mainstays like Oysters are fresh, bone marrow rich and divine, not to mention their wide selection of beers and wine. Al Brown is a genius.

Went in for dinner a few nights ago and had a great time!! We surprisingly didn't have to wait too long, and even the short wait was made pleasant by having a drink outside. Once we were seated inside we were promptly seated and had bread sent right out to us. Our waitress was amazing and I could tell that her service experience in Germany was a step above most I've found in NZ. Her recommendations on the menu where exceptional and the flavour pairings and overall presentation of the dishes were wonderful. The wine out of the tap was actually very nice despite my preconceived notions. Overall our evening was made to be special by the whole wait staff's friendly and knowledgeable service and the kitchen's attention to the finer points of our meal. Our only 'complaint' would have been a perceived pretentious attitude of the management staff in how they directed their staff, but that was really only mildly distracting. A very nice spot for a fun and diverse meal.
