The most streamlined and comfortable dental experience I have had. After this experience I won't be so likely to keep putting off my annual dental clean and check up.

My son has just completed his orthodontic treatment at Dentalcare West and now has a gorgeous handsome straightened smile. Dr James Philpott and his team were excellent in every way - great communication, very skilled, no hassle booking, always friendly and reassuring. We couldn't be more pleased with the expertise and care all the way through the treatment and with the result.

I Went into Dental Care West for my appointment on Thursday, 17 August and it went well I received the service that I was Happy to receive I went to Dr Aaron Lee and he is a friendly & Professional Dentist he asked me what I wanted to do on the day and I said I wanted to do my Extractions today and he did what I wanted him to do I feel happy with his service my next appointment is going to be clean my teeth then the Fillings of my teeth I would Recommend their service because not only the Reception is friendly you get Professional services from the Dentists 5 star rating from me

I won't be going to Kelston Dental Care anymore I would instead go to Dental Care West for all Dental work and Dental services 100% Friendly Reception staff & 100% Experienced & Friendly Dentists
I went to Kelston Dental Care before and their service was very poor and I didn't get what I wanted I got excuses from them instead but Dental Care West is better with friendly reception staff & friendly dentists The Dentists at Dental Care West is happy to do what I would like them to do that is what you call friendly service this does not happen at Kelston Dental Care and you call that poor service they tell you what they are going to do and they won't listen to what you tell them this is how it works at Kelston Dental Care that is why I won't be going there anymore I want Dentists that listens to me and does what I want them to do A Long Review like this means they are Professional Dentists with friendly staff I certainly would Recommend them.

I am 68 and my teeth were falling apart. I knew something drastic had to be done. I researched dental surgery costs in Thailand, Russia, Ukraine, Germany and other places as well as New Zealand. I set up a spreadsheet to calculate currency exchange, airfares, hotels, taxis, food, etc. to compare the costs. And although some of the quotations I received were very attractive, how could I factor in the risk. The risk of price increases. I imagined being strapped into the chair with the dentist standing over me with the drilling buzzing ready to drill into my jawbone for an implant while he explained that the cost didn't include anaesthetic. Did I want anaesthetic at extra cost? Or were the ceramic crowns I insisted on actually put in my mouth or replaced with something cheaper? And can you really put the crowns on the implants just a few days after putting in the implants?
With these, and other worrying risks, I still had to take time away from my business if I was going overseas and I couldn't get any certainty about how long I would need. Some told me that I couldn't travel for a few weeks after getting the implants. Some said they could fit crowns and implants at the same time while others said I needed months between getting the implants and getting the crowns placed on the implants. I didn't know for how long I would be away or how many trips would I need to get the job done?
My spreadsheet was by this time a mess of confusion!
I decided I couldn't chance the risks or take the time from my work so I began looking at getting it done in Auckland.
Sure, everyone I approached could do it, but their prices were frightening! And when I looked more closely, many did just the crowns while I went somewhere else for the implant surgery and that was charged separately.
Just as desperation was ready to overcome me, I noticed an advertisement by Dentalcare West challenging anyone thinking of getting work done overseas. I made an appointment and went to meet with Dr Scott Waghorn. I found him to be a very direct, no mucking about sort of guy. He showed instant understanding of my dilemna and gave me pricing for all the work, including the surgery, that was almost as good as the overseas prices, but without the uncertainties or time away from my business.
Now that the work has been completed, I'm so VERY PLEASED that I didn't attempt getting it done overseas because it has taken several weeks.
Scott did all the dental and surgery work. He is fast, sensitive, and expert. He has all the necessary equipment and skills. His business and staff buzz with the culture of professionalism that he has imbued.
I am very pleased to recommend Dentalcare West and Dr Scott Waghorn to my family and friends.
