Daikoku (Teppan-Yaki) Takapuna

Went here for a hens night , great fun! Food is reasonably priced, fresh and plenty to choose from. Good location to go onto pubs later.

Fantastic location and loads of parking around the area, even if it means that there will be a short stroll to the restaurant. Modern dining area, well ventilated. Love the cheap set lunch menu, you get a soup, a a salad, some rice and meat with desert.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! Usually go a few times a month. Highly rate the lunch special, cheap price for SO much food! Great for families or groups. Chefs are very friendly and entertaining. ALWAYS a pleasurable experience!

Such a great restaurant which provides a little bit of interaction and theatre to the meal. The food is cooked right in front of you on a hot plate which is awesome. They even try make you catch cooked egg in your mouth which is fun. Food is always well cooked and very yummy. they do a good lunch deal but is a little bit more expensive at dinner

I like the whole Daikoku experience. On the most recent experience the chef we had was not as engaging as other chefs I have had previously or as others working at the same time. I had a seafood dish. The salmon was ok. The scallops were spongy and not that fresh. The prawns were very good. Overall was ok but not as good as previous visits. My wife has to ask several times for a glass of water. For the prices you do expect excellence
