Daikoku (Teppan-Yaki & Ramen) Botany

I am usually not very fond of Japanese cuisine but Daikoku certainly changed my opinion about Japanese food. I really liked the Chicken lunch special. They prepare your lunch right in front of you, which is something that you don't get to experience at other restaurants. The quantity is sufficient and it is reasonably priced. I would recommend trying it out!!

Daikoku are always pretty great and this one is no exception. Great atmosphere with quality food and an interesting selection of drinks available at a good price.

Dinner with a show! My family and I enjoyed dinner at Daikoku. I would highly recommend the “Chefs choice” on the menu. It includes steak and chicken, absolutely delicious. The chefs were very entertaining to watch and they were also interactive having us catch the egg pieces with our mouth. It was so much fun!

Only downside was lack of ventilation, was a bit hot for us with the oven infront of us and no aircon around.

We had the best family meal here while on a recent trip to Auckland. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly. And of course the entertainment provided by the chef is top notch. Highly recommend.

The food is amazing, and the customer service at Daikoku was utterly respectful. There is amazing authentic Japanese cuisine to be enjoyed with hot sake. The only reason, I highly recommend this restaurant for an amazing Japanese food experience.
